Domestic Violence is wrong. Jesus wouldn't abuse you, and neither should anyone else. To the many women who are in abusive relationships, you don't have to accept it as normal. This isn't love. You were not created to be someone's punching bag! I know what it is to put makeup on to cover the black eyes. I know what it is to lift your arms, and you grimace in pain because you were trying to defend yourself. I remember even being thrown on the bed so hard that I almost blacked out. The same God that gave me the strength to leave is the same God that will give you the strength to get out. I am no longer a victim. Jesus took away my pain and scars. He will do the same for you.
